Fancy a pause over tea and scones, or a more substantial spread with sandwiches and cake? Miss Daisy has sets to suit the occasion. Some visitors who came for the scones have remarked on their moist texture and the way their wheat sweetness comes through with every bite. One visitor also noted that walnut scones were available. Enjoy them with tea as part of a set, or order them on their own to savour the scones themselves.

For something closer to a meal, there is a sandwich set. One visitor described a sandwich layered with lettuce, tomato and thick-cut bacon, served in a tall, peaked loaf that made for a filling bite. They chose tea and added Christmas pudding afterwards. Its sweet-tart flavour came from dried fruit, including figs and raisins, and nuts; they enjoyed it with the cream served alongside. The menu also lists sets with soup, dessert and a drink, as well as an afternoon tea set. The latter brings together scones, sandwiches, cake and fruit.

Alongside tea, the drinks menu includes stewed tea (chai), made by brewing tea leaves in milk alone and described as rich and full-bodied. Coffee drinkers can choose between the Select Blend, noted for its clean taste, and the Classic Blend, with a mellow richness beneath its bitterness. One visitor who had tea and cake in the café also remembered the moment their order arrived on a tea trolley. Several people have described the atmosphere as quiet, making it a good choice for a peaceful cup of tea alone or with a small group. Please note that payment is cash only.
